Two of InSITE’s recurring events are the Mock Term Sheet Negotiation and the Fred Wilson Session.
The Mock Term Sheet Negotiation is a simulated negotiation with two Wilson Sonsini lawyers, VC, and entrepreneur. At this event, Fellows are exposed to the intricacies of a term sheet and hear first-hand accounts about the points that are important to each of the parties involved.
Fred Wilson is a leading voice of the venture capital finance community in New York and co-founded Union Square Ventures, which has financed leading Web 2.0 companies such as Twitter, Covestor, del.icio.us, Etsy, and Indeed.com. Annually since 2009, Fred Wilson has sat down to speak with InSITE Fellows and discussed all aspects of being a part of the venture community.
