These projects tend to be more involved and are more akin to a consulting project with a specific question, goal, and deliverable due upon the end of the semester. Typically, the companies engaged in a special project have worked with InSITE before and have experienced the value with working with us. Typically, InSITE receives a cash donation in return for delivery of a Special Project.
Special Projects are championed by a Senior Fellow with a specific interest or relationship with a later-stage entrepreneur. The Senior Fellow scopes the project with the entrepreneur and works with the InSITE President to obtain final approval by the Chairman of the Board. Projects are typically defined and arranged at least three weeks in advance of the Company Selection Event that takes place at the beginning of each semester.
